This VP will Identify and implement new broadcast related technologies in a highly advanced and technologically sophisticated environment.  This person will also be responsible for day-to-day technical services and planning as they relate to the network (s). Researching and recommending state of the art, operationally cost effective equipment, which will improve operations.  Also oversee and maintain all information technology systems required for the networks. 
 

• Develop and direct operational and systems plans based on programming needs for new services.
• Work closely with Operations with regard to technical aspects of duplication, quality control and origination of signal.
• Provide engineering, implementation and consulting services to international interests, as well as provide a platform so that synergy can be realized for different operating divisions of the company.
• Forecast and manage an operating budget to provide maintenance for technical areas.
• Develop and oversee all capital projects pertaining to the technical needs of the NOC.
• Evaluate feasibility of new equipment.
• Perform staff performance reviews
• Perform disciplinary actions
• Screen and hire new team members
• Interface with East Coast staff on various problems and questions in order to reach viable solutions 

1. BS, Electrical Engineering or equivalent required
2. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects
3. Ten (10) years experience in all aspects of television operations
4. Ability to work with outside vendors
5. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
6. Staff and budget management experience
