Vice President with extremely refreshing management philosophy seeks an independent, innovative and self motivated television broadcasting sales executive to function with autonomy.

This opportunity will afford a seasoned sales executive, career and financial advancement, in one of the World's most stable and secure companies to work for in the entertainment and media industry. 

This executive will be responsible for national advertising relationships while being based in Michigan and serving the Ohio & Michigan markets.  This person will manage the existing "Big 3" accounts and must be able to enhance those existing relationships.  This job is for a pro-active person.  Not an order taker.  This person will be a leader.  A person as comfortable in the boardroom as they are at a baseball game.
 

2. Developing relationships with business clients, in and out of present client categories.

3. Devising and delivering presentations to demonstrate the value of the Network's dominating and specialized consumer market while referencing syndicated research data such as Nielsen, MRI and Adviews.  This network has a unique dominance and this person must know what it is to sell from a dominant position in the marketplace.

4. This executive will supervise a personal sales assistant in Detroit and a dedicated sales planner at the Network's Chicago offices.

5. Work with New York, Los Angeles, Chicago & Washington, DC offices in synergy to be more effective and responsive to client's needs.
 

1. Proven ability to manage and develop major national accounts in and around Detroit, MI.
2. Experience directing client relationships of major automotive and Michigan / Ohio based accounts. 
3. Managing and enhancing existing accounts/business.
4. Experience developing new business utilizing the Network's dominance in specific demographics / markets .
5. Ability to structure and supervise a sales assistant and sales planner.
6. Effective creative and business presentation skills with clients. "Big 3"
7. Knowledge of broadcasting and or traffic computer systems.
8. Ability to assimilate and disseminate media math concepts.
9. Self discipline, self motivation, success oriented, broadcasting sales executive who likes to run the show! 
10. A person who thinks out of the box and enjoys being creative during the sales process.
