Salary	to $325,000 with 30% Bonus & Stock - Complete Corporate Relocation and Differentials
Location	New York City, New York - U.S.A. and Los Angeles, CA - U.S.A.
Position Summary	Reports to Corporate EVP  Diversified media and entertainment conglomerate seeks EVP for new HD and Interactive Distribution Technologies Division This firm seeks to confidentially consolidate all technology initiatives based on future distribution capabilities and revenue streams Manage academic, government, corporate and vendor developments for implementation Manage a phase-out plan for old technology and reassessments of revenue distribution based on phase-in Develop internal and external models for research, development and implementation of new systems Vendors include: set-top, fiber, satellite, hub, RF and IR and pending FCC allocation Manage a staff of 5 direct reports and 58 on a dotted line Manage new revenue acquisition initiative to interface with hub area: Financial Institutions, Food Service Providers, Entertainment, Gaming and Service Providers Co-Chair Security and encryption committee with EVP, vendors and relevant hub participants Initiate human asset training development program to eliminate perceived future engineering shortages in fiber technology  Keep sales, marketing and corporate communications aware of time-lines for new product roll-outs
Skills Required	Advanced Engineering degree and MBA preferred.  Ph.D. a plus  Min. 10 -15 years of increased responsibility within technology management in the media and or communication industries Strong record of innovation with regard to build-out and development of new advanced interactive technologies Strong understanding of: Cable, DBS, Broadband, Fiber, Networking & Security design, implementation and maintenance  Experience with interactive technologies.  Voice & Bio recognition highly desired  Proven record of success managing resources: physical, intellectual, financial and human Ability to travel and participate with regard to domestic and global technology initiatives Experience with confidential technology initiatives and relevant security issues
