The Sales Development Director is responsible for conceiving and developing creative marketing solutions that leverage the full breadth of the firm's mobile, online and social media platforms to help the firm achieve its overall revenue goals. Clients are major brands, advertising agencies and large-sized businesses.This role requires a self-starter with high initiative, who can think creatively and strategically, can work collaboratively as a team player, and has very strong presentation, copy, and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone who is highly detail oriented, can thrive in a deadline-driven, face-paced environment and has familiarity with online advertising platforms and executions.
The ability to make responses to RFP's flow well, look great and address the creative needs of Automotive, CPG, Electronics, Gaming, Entertainment and all the many businesses that the company presents to once their RFP's are received.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with conceptualizing integrated ideas and writing proposals and strong PowerPoint skills for RFP responses
- Ability to think strategically, understanding sales needs and translate these needs into compelling concepts and programs
- Exceptional proposal writing, presentation and interpersonal skills
- 5-7 years’ experience working in media (3-4 years with interactive, internet, web or mobile knowledge)
- 3+ years of account planning/strategic planning experience in an advertising agency environment (strongly desired)
- Extremely detailed oriented, with the ability to manage many tasks at once and drive process and organization
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, reasoning, and organization skills
- Ability to work proactively and independently
- Enthusiastic, energetic, focused individual, highly detail oriented and able to thrive in deadline-driven environment
- Extensive background generating and executing multi-platform, integrated programs
- Experience working in a fast paced, constantly evolving, team environment
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in marketing or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience (preferably working in a digital or mobile advertising environment and with advertising agencies)
- Exceptional proficiency in PowerPoint a must
- Creative design background and graphics including Photoshop proficiency considered a plus
- Marketing and selling background a big plus

The Client Service team is responsible for the management of campaigns from signature to execution. The Vice President's roll will be to develop the Client Services staff, assign project work, review workload for direct reports and manage certain high profile relationships. Other important components to the Vice Presidential position will be to conceptualize, execute and optimize advertising programs as well as develop policies and procedures to streamline workflow. Reports to the President of Global Sales based in New York City. The President is seeking a person who wants to play a strategic role in the development of the company taking business, creative and technology assets into consideration at all times. This position is for someone who enjoys working in an entertainment oriented creative digital environment with seasoned professionals. A person who creates a rewarding and positive work environment and growth for the people in their department is essential.
Job Description
- Develop integrated marketing programs; proposals and sales materials to support the Ad Sales Team.
- Provide guidance, direction, coaching and development to all members of the Client Services team.
- Interface directly with the heads of programming and sales to strategically enhance content and sales initiatives.
- Oversee the management of projects to completion and ensure that they are in compliance with the specifics detailed in the signed Insertion Order.
- Delegate duties to internal Directors, Managers, Creatives and external vendors.
- Act as a liaison with all department heads to coordinate and manage the flow of information as it relates to implementing the campaigns.
- Maintain strong relationships with programming for original and acquired content, marketing and creative input.
- Manage timelines with graphics, content, legal, traffic and other areas of the property, as well as, with the client to maintain scheduled deadlines.
- Delegate workflow and review for QA.
- Personally manage select creative campaigns for "high profile" clients.
Requirements
- Prior management/supervisory experience a must.
- 5-10 years experience working in media (Min. 3-5 years with recent interactive).
- Experience with conceptualizing integrated ideas and writing proposals.
- 5+ years of account planning/strategic planning experience in an advertising agency or digital media property.
- Knowledge of building micro-sites, sponsorships and other advertising programs, as well as, experience with ad-serving systems (i.e. Dart, Mediavisor, etc.)
- Extremely detailed oriented, with the ability to manage many tasks and employees at once.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Experience working in a fast paced, constantly evolving, team environment.
- The ability and desire to interface with top agencies and or clients on high profile accounts.
- BA/BS or equivalent.
