Summary

Major U.S. corporation has retained our firm to identify a programming executive with strong strategic and creative acumen to lead a multifaceted initiative geared towards domination of OD programming across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

Manage staff and resources for On Demand Music, Gaming, Entertainment, Merchandising and Lifestyle Programming

Lead efforts to acquire and develop appropriate programming based on platform

Manage budgets and reporting with corp. finance for technology and creative initiatives

Work in conjunction with business affairs, affiliate relations and external licensing and merchandising to expand North American markets

Develop strong relationships with internal and external distribution resources for next generation assimilation and distribution of product

Strategically position the firm to dominate markets from a creative and technology perspective

Manage and mentor programming staff in New York and Los Angeles

Function as key representative with creative and technology vendors for OD

Position Music, Motion Picture, TV, Gaming, Shopping Gateway, Education and Information product to become "appointments".

Skills Required

Proven leadership developing programming for multiple platforms

Strong technology acumen with regard to MSO, Broadband and Wireless distribution

Experience managing creatives strategically to dominate genres in each space

Strength in financial reporting and budgeting

Experience managing staff in multiple locations

Strong leadership skills to develop staff in business, creative and technology environments
