EDUCATION:        B.B.A. or M.B.A. in Finance

EXPERIENCE:      2-3 years in a financial planning and analysis position; preferably in the entertainment media industry

REPORTS TO:     Director of Finance

JOB DUTIES:       This candidate shall possess outstanding organizational. and communication skills. Individual must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Job duties include managing the day-to-day financial elements of the Domestic TV & Film division, The following bullet points highlight the specific functions of the desired candidate:

Provide financial planning and support for the expanded Creative Development slate. Assist in the creation of new series proposals and production budget plans which require heavy financial modeling and analysis. Compilation of industry information relating to competitors and co-production partners (production slates, ratings, talent deals, etc) and emerging trends in the kids/family business.

Manage the contract financial administration for Creative Development. Track the rights, availability, expirations, and contractual terms associated with development contracts (i.e. Option agreements) to ensure that all financial terms and payments are met. Will create, update and communicate the Creative Development fund status report.

Day to day financial analysis for all TV, Film and Video productions. This position reviews detailed financial information from studio's co-production partners, verifies accuracy, assures timely reporting and questions discrepancies/problems.

Assist in the preparation of quarterly estimates and annual budget packages. Prepare management projections for both cash flow and P&L. Also will provide analytical support (i.e. variance analysis) necessary to support financial packages submitted to corporate, Actively manage production cash flow information (both receipts and expenses) on a monthly basis.

Will assist in the communication of TV & Film’s current financial position to both corporate and internal division heads (Production Supervision, Creative Development, New Show Projects, Home Video, Project Directors).
