Compensation Base to $75,000 plus bonus and paid overtime

Summary
  • Majority of work is on attorney pitch books using MS PowerPoint and candidates needs a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Writing key sections to tailor proposals / pitches to specific prospects / industries / sectors
  • Extremely strong technical capabilities in: PowerPoint, Excel and Word, PDF are essential, Indesign and illustrator are highly desirable.
  • Ability to advise attorneys on layout, colors and design of pitch books and best output for print.
  • Writing, editing and maintaining effective, compelling, and consistent written materials for use in the firm's marketing and business development initiatives
  • Some basic level graphics work (such as e-invites, client templates, place names, posters etc) with a willingness to learn on the job
  • Managing and reviewing market, industry and client research for pitch preparation
  • Supervising pitch process, including participating in strategy session, writing proposals, rehearsing for pitch meetings and ensuring best practices 
  • Contributing and assisting in the development of Firmwide transactions and matters databases and electronic library of pitch components 
  • Production support for color printers, binders, laminators and IT troubleshooting.
  • Client advice regarding print issues and high end document production eg booklets, laminating and non-standard stock use as appropriate.
Knowledge 
  • Extensive PowerPoint, Visio, Excel and Word experience essential
  • Print experience and the willingness to work with high-end document production.
  • Familiarity with Finance, Corporate and/or Investment Banking environment 
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet demands in high pressured environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients, and with attorneys
Required
  • 5+ years’ experience working in an investment banking, law firm, accounting or professional services firm
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Familiar with the pitch process and have a basic understanding of legal disciplines or practices with a focus on real estate, private equity, public company M&A, capital markets, and or debt finance
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships among lawyers and staff to achieve results
  • Must be comfortable with tight deadlines and multiple projects
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows and Office suite of applications including PowerPoint, Visio,  and Excel is required, and experience with Quark and Photoshop is a preferred
  • Must possess a professional demeanor and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are also required
