Summary
The Account Director is responsible for
the overall status of his/her account. This includes managing the
strategic direction of the account team, maintaining a healthy and productive
relationship with the client and maintaining the quality of work on the
account.
In addition, the Account Director must
achieve the agreed-upon profit targets and growth goals for the account.
The Account Director is responsible for keeping Agency management informed
on major issues affecting the account.
Responsibilities

Ability to work independently and provide
leadership to remote agency team(s).

Exceptional at building and nurturing client
relationships.

Have hybrid account management /account planner
background and strong strategic skills.

Insure the quality of work surrounding all
aspects of the account.

Be effective in preventing problems and solving
them quickly as they develop to assure best practices.

Work with teams internally and externally
to benefit the client and agency for digital, social and other emerging
media positioning.

Contribute to the growth of the account and
take responsibility for the profitability of the account through best practices.

Cultivate opportunities for senior management
to have contact with clients attending business, entertainment and industry
related affairs.

Provide a keen understanding of multicultural
markets. "Total Market" & "Scope"

Plan, present and execute the account's strategic
direction.

Effectively manage budgets for revenue generation,
profit growth and compliance with client contracts.

Exhibit broad people management skills to
work with business and creative executives.

Be a team player who is able to work within
the Agency on cross functional teams.

Communicate with superior written and oral
communication skills.

From a business and creative perspective guide
your beauty/CPG accounts to success by consistently meeting or exceeding
their creative and marketing goals.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree a must with 7-10 years of
increased responsibility in account planning or account management.

Advertising agency experience preferred with
CPG and or beauty brands
-
Proficient with computer applications and
open to learning new systems.
-
A sound knowledge of brand marketing to include
digital, social and other emerging media.

A robust understanding of multicultural markets
-
A strong understanding of creating a culture
of success for employees and clients in a respected multicultural environment
-
Ability to engage clients with "Total Market"
and "Scope" as specialists in engaging ideal multicultural demographics.
