Summary
This synergistic group is an internal strategic sales and marketing group within the Network, whose goal is to generate media dollars from Fortune 500 advertisers. The revenue is incremental to the Network as these advertisers have not previously spent dollars with the Network, or they have purchased media locally through one of the 178 individual radio stations. The Group creates multi-market, fully integrated marketing solutions utilizing one or more of assets owned and controlled by The Network (terrestrial, online and live events). Within the Group, the Client Strategy and Solutions (CSS) group is the creative “think tank” for developing innovative and strategic marketing and promotional ideas for the Group’s national sales team.
This position is for an interactive marketing specialist to work within Client Strategy and Solutions and Interactive Marketing who can be the point person for integrated on-air to online programs as well as pure digital opportunities that span the firm's core of interactive assets (station websites, our streaming network, mobile and on-demand programming). The culture of the group is bold, dynamic, active and responsive. Candidates should have a passion for brands and a sincere interest in how they are marketed, as well as the ability to express oneself well in email, in PowerPoint, in Excel and in person. You must have a thirst for knowledge and a passion for pop culture.
Job Description
- Work closely with a senior team of marketing solution specialists to fuel the sales process
- Create marketing and promotional concepts that can be amplified through consumer touch points inherent to radio and the interactive space (broadcast, HD, internet, streaming, podcasting, live events, etc)
- Research client/brand needs and draft client correspondence
- Coordinate, lead and participate in brainstorming sessions
- Represent interactive assets to internal and external parties (agencies, brands, partners) with coherence and authority
- Draft notes from brainstorming sessions and manage proposal development process
- Give clear creative direction in order to bring interactive ideas to life via online and offline mock-ups
- Research industry verticals and uncover potential leads for new clients
